l Mirto is the new concept restaurant of the Botania Relais and Spa in Ischia. An idea that started a long time ago, with the aim of bringing the products of the earth back to the centre of the table, under a modern reinterpretation.
Atmosphere, presentation and flavors make the experience at IL MIRTO a continuous sensory surprise, a gustatory adventure that seduces and involves all the senses.
A welcoming and bright dining room, an elegant and essential design, in perfect balance with nature and the surrounding landscape and which can also be admired from the large windows and the suggestive terrace.
The dining room staff is competent and trained and the guest of Il Mirto is not limited only to tasting vegetarian dishes carefully prepared by the staff led by Chef Tommaso Luongo, but also lives an experience capable of nourishing not only the body but also the heart.

6 months agoThis was one of the very best meals of my life. I am vegan, and was able to experience a 7 course menu of outstanding food (+ a few extras!) Meat eaters, you will NOT miss the meat! The care and delicacy that goes into each course is incredible; it was impossible to choose a favourite course. A fully vegetarian restaurant is so amazing to see, vegetables are celebrated & it's clear the chef has put a lot of thought into the journey you go on. The setting is stunning, the staff are so professional, friendly and kind. We came here as a special occasion, and it will stay with me as the highlight of our trip to Ischia. It's expensive, but for the Michelin experience, it was fantastic.

7 months agoIl Mirto delivers a delightful meal filled with so many innovative flavors. The chef creates super imaginative dish and all with vegetables. The restaurant itself is stunning, with a view overlooking beautiful gardens and the ocean. The vibe is relaxed and not pretentious. Absolutely worth a visit for anyone visiting Ischia who wants an exciting culinary adventure!

a year agoSuch a memorable evening in all ways! A truly special farm to fork fine dining experience. We were lucky enough to be shown around the gardens where we saw the diversity of fruits and vegetables thriving, making seeing and tasting the flavours of the island on our plate even more amazing. The food was beautiful, creative and absolutely delicious, and the staff were friendly, attentive and impressively knowledgeable. Highly highly recommend to anyone - vegetarian/vegan or not!

3 years agoBeing Italian, strictly vegetarian and living abroad, I was excited to notice the sign of a vegetarian restaurant on this island I used to love in the years since I was a kid. The experience and the food is really amazing, but also quite pricey, maybe due also to the location where the restaurant is located. A blast of amazing and still local tastes. Very polite and friendly staff. Only one suggestion, maybe to shorten a bit the whole tasting experience and not letting it last almost 3 hours. Keep up the good spirit and the marvellous concept!

5 months agoWe’re coming from New York City where there is no shortage of exceptional vegetarian restaurants, including Michelin starred ones. Il Mirto is in my view better. The tasting menu is unbelievable, the setting gorgeous, and the staff outstandingly kind, knowledgeable, and attentive.
