Asimakis Chaniotis-Vallianatos originates from Riza Thinias in Kefalonia. Since his childhood, as a nature lover, he has always been interested in learning everything about the region’s raw ingredients, scouting for products such as wild greens, herbs, fruits, and vegetables from wild asparagus to borage and wild leeks.

He was also interested in various ways of fishing too from nets to long line, shellfish collection and hunting birds and wild hare found in our island. Throughout the years, the information he gathered from islanders on traditional Kefalonian recipes, special ingredients, and products, fused his passion for culinary knowledge even further, elevating through his cooking the Kefalonian cuisine.

    This restaurant has an amazing inside garden with a very private and calm atmosphere. The food was absolutely amazing and I definitely recommend the wild mushrooms as a starter, one of the best I have tried! The meat and seafood are amazing, as well as the margarita cocktail that I ordered. The dishes are served in a very interesting and original way, that makes the restaurant stand out. We also had a wonderful experience with the staff who have been very kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

    Such a special place to visit when in Argostoli. My wife, and 3 friends, visited this lovely restaurant in July of this year. It was tucked away in a beautiful courtyard in the heart of town with beautiful colors and excellent decor. The staff were amazing and felt like they really enjoyed their jobs. The food was breathtaking, and deserving of Michelin accolades. I’ve never had such an amazing greek salad in my life. The roast pork was incredible. If you’re looking for fine dining in Kefalonia, you should go to Terre.

    Most definitely the best restaurant on the island!!!!!! Wow wow wow everything was amazing from the food to the service. People say it’s a Michelin star level restaurant and so it is. Highly recommend ordering a lot of different dishes .

    Wooow 10/10 for food, service, atmosphere, beverage. Well done🫶 As a person who comes with 20 years of experience in food & beverage around the world, I can tell you, this restaurant at the level of a Michelin star⭐ Gorge from roof top , the Somalia, the host and the rest of the team did everything to make sure we having a great time. It's more than a restaurant its an experience. The food was delicious, high level of products, compliments for the chef 👌 Thanks for an amazing evening, hope to visit again soon.

    I usually don’t give 5 stars, but they truly deserve it. Read the previous 5-star reviews and believe all of them; it’s even better! I would put 10 stars if possible! The food is amazing and very well articulated. The chef, who was an executive chef at a Michelin restaurant in London, will surely earn another star here. Kefalonia’s best restaurant!
