Sofrito – Angsana Corfu Resort & Spa

Angsana Corfu Resort & Spa was the perfect finale to our Greek island adventure, offering a true 5-star resort experience. The property boasts multiple restaurants with very good food, a stunning (unheated) infinity pool with breathtaking Ionian Sea views, a heated indoor pool, gym, sauna, and steam room. Tip: eat breakfast early to secure a poolside seat, as they fill up fast! The spa was wonderful, though it lacks dedicated amenities like a private pool or hot tub. The service was exceptional—staff were incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, making our stay seamless. We loved the olive oil tasting activity—highly recommend if it’s offered. Our room was clean, modern, and recently updated, adding to the luxury. Corfu is a gem, and this resort is ideally located just 25 minutes from Corfu Old Town. Renting a car is the way to go for flexibility, though parking can be tough when cruise ships dock; taxis are pricey but reliable. We didn’t try the shuttle to the private beach, but it’s a great option. This beautiful resort is a must-stay for exploring vibrant Corfu—we only wish we’d had more time!

I was on a business trip with a bunch of other people. This place is absolutely spectacular: The rooms are big, you have a great view of the ocean if you have a room facing that direction and it’s very serene. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. There is a store of hand made outfits that anybody could love, very unique. The main feature is that you have an infinity swimming pool that is HUGE, right outside the dining facilities. Adjoining it is an indoor gym area which I didn’t explore much, but apparently it has a lot of great activities. My only point I could mention for improvement is I had a co-worker who had a deadline for a meeting and I was trying to get her food at the middle “bar”/small eatery right past the reception point. The two staff were slow and even though I asked for something fast, we did get our drinks within 5 minutes, but it took about 30 minutes to serve a small meal for my co-worker who in the end had to run without eating it. Not cool. Again, this is a minor point, and I noticed that some of our other co-workers had eaten there without any complaints so maybe there was some event they had to deal with. Overall, fantastic. If you want to treat yourself to the most amazing hotel on the island which has a great view and so much space on the property that you feel you’re in your own paradise, I highly recommend.

My family of 4, including 2 male teens, spent 2 nights here mid April. We arrived from Old Town on a beautiful sunny day and first impressions were most impressive as the driveway and hillside entry to the hotel, overlook 180degree views of blue Ionian waters. Staff greeted us with enthusiasm and genuine care from the moment we pulled up, making sure our luggage was attended to and providing a tour of the hotel facilities. The adjoined rooms were perfect with super comfy beds, enough space and modern amenities, including excellent WiFi. We ate most meals at the hotel because the food was amazing. Breakfast buffet was very generous and included many local and regional specialties which I loved. The indoor pool was very clean and the change rooms included jacuzzi, sauna and hammam. There is also Spa services available for those who have time. The family loved this hotel and the kids did not want to leave. Thank you to all the staff who made the stay wonderful.

What an experience! Angsana is the perfect destination if you’re looking to relax and truly enjoy yourself. The hotel is beautifully designed and offers every facility you could hope for: indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sports classes, a gym, spa treatments, and massages. While all of this is impressive, what truly sets Angsana apart is its staff. The team here is among the friendliest and most attentive I’ve ever encountered. Their dedication to guest comfort is remarkable. One moment, in particular, stood out to me: while dining at one of the hotel’s restaurants, I observed a family being seated. They were speaking in a language that suggested they might follow a kosher diet. Without hesitation, the manager or server kindly asked if meat mixed with cheese was acceptable for them. An incredibly thoughtful gesture that showed genuine attentiveness and cultural sensitivity. That level of service is rare, and I sincerely hope the hotel’s management recognizes and rewards their staff accordingly, because without them, the experience wouldn’t be nearly as special. Our room was spacious, modern, and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional, offering a wide variety of high-quality options. Valet parking was seamless, and thoughtful extras like complimentary water by the pool added an extra touch of care. From start to finish, the service was impeccable. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here!

Our experience at Angsana Corfu is unforgettable every single time, but this stay was truly exceptional. Many of our friends and family are seasoned travelers accustomed to high-end hospitality, yet they all agreed that their stay at Angsana Corfu was extraordinary.
