The intimate and welcoming setting of a Michelin-starred restaurant in Le Cannet
The decor of the dining room is a subtle mix of genres and periods: delicate metal table lamps, old photos on the walls, seats upholstered in light-coloured fabrics and baroque touches that hark back to the Bastide’s long heritage… The whole combines to create an intimate and refined setting, with the parquet flooring adding a touch of warmth that serves to enhance the ensemble.
The exterior is the setting for gentle Mediterranean living. The Provençal inscription, adorning the sundial on the beautiful shaded terrace, reminds us that, “Aqui l’acuei es au soulèu raiounant” – “Here the welcome is in the radiant sun”. And just like inside, the decor is a combination of original and elegant touches: the modernity of the concrete tables contrasts with the profusion of surrounding plant life, while the plushness of the seats in the lounge area acts as an invitation to indulge in moments of sheer relaxation before or after your meal.

5 months agoSo positive and nice atmosphere in this place. Of course you have to pay for it, but I have visited to many Michelin restaurants even with 3 stars , but this 2 stars Michelin restaurant deserves to have 3 stars totally ! Dinner for 2 without wine is around thousand. The chef was visiting each table in the end. Each food had a unique flavour and a lot effort was put into making. Thank you Bruno Oger and your team for our nice evening in May ❤️🇫🇷

6 months agoThis 2 star Michelin restaurant is my new fav restaurant worldwide. If staying in Nice, Caan or anywhere near this restaurant - it is a MUST go. The food was exceptional and very unique. Chef Bruno is very talented and creative. The menu changes but I would recommend the 5 course tasting menu. Plenty of food. I would also suggest the wine pairing which complimented the experience perfectly. The setting is an old house and we sat outside which made the ambiance over the top.

a year agoHands down the best restaurant meal I have ever eaten. Mind you, I rarely get the opportunity to dine in a Michelin starred restaurant and have only been to half a dozen. Everything about the experience was superb. Minor quibble- the steep walk uphill and down on the driveway from the restaurant was difficult for my wife, who had on leather sole flats which slipped. She would have fallen if I had not been holding her hand. Upon arrival at the Villa, from the moment we were greeted by the Maitre d’Hotel we were comfortably. There were only 11 tables on the terrace, well spaced and a wait staff of 5. They were very attentive but not intrusive. The patron stopped at our table to welcome us and then before being offered a menu, we received complimentary hors d’oeuvres which set the tone for the rest of the evening. The presentation, texture and flavors of this painstakingly prepared small morsels were superb. We chose the 9 course “surprise” menu, each course perfectly prepared and plated and with bursting flavors. The only food disappointments were the voilaille (chicken) course which seemed undercooked. Definitely not in the same league as the other 8 courses. Our favorites were the langoustine and bar (Mediterranean sea bass) courses. All of the courses were imaginative with delicate flavors and textures. We cannot comment on wine pairings since we don’t drink. The end to a perfect evening- mint tea and a gift box from le patron. This is the type of meal I can only dream about all year until we return to the Côte d’Azur. One you have appreciated a meal such as this, everything else pales in comparison. Thank you M. Oger

10 months agoWe had experienced an unforgettable dining experience at La Villa Archange. The restaurant had a nice interior design, every detail was well thought. We tried the 9 course L'Inspiration de l'Archange menu. Every plate was unique, had it's own story and tasted amazing. Would like to thank chef Bruno Oger and the team for the culinary journey.
