Be prepared for a magical setting – a dazzling panoramic view, variations in the landscape below, mountains plunging into the Mediterranean. But this does not eclipse the cuisine of Justin Schmitt! This chef, who is no stranger to working in the finest restaurants, is a dab hand at cooking up modern cuisine with personality, such as octopus roasted with satay, creamy corn and smoked whisky, or John Dory, courgette flowers, prawns and verbena. The desserts are on a par and the view from the terrace is breathtaking!
Château Eza includes two outstanding food & beverage venues: 1 Michelin Starred restaurant serving à la carte Mediterranean and classic French cuisine, as well as a lounge bar with a two leveled terrace overlooking the sparkling azure waters of the French Riviera.
For a more intimate experience, guests can also enjoy dining on our private balconies with breath-taking views of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, as well as our exclusive dining room, or in the Wine Cave.

a week agoReview for the hotel itself: 5 stars - we had a great stay, room was nice, and staff was accommodating. Would definitely recommend staying here Review for the restaurant: 4 stars - we had welcome drinks upon arrival (fun, great view on the terrace), dinner at the restaurant (see below) and drinks one night after dinner. If we were to do it over, we’d just opt for the a la carte menu options versus the chef’s tasting menu. The food was yummy and centered around seafood. However, the service just did not match the rest of the vibe - everyone around us seemed to be constantly waited on, but not us, so that was definitely disappointing. There was a point when we’d finished one course, drinks, and water - no one came by for over 20 minutes. I’m pretty sure we ended up getting the bill before we received the final dessert course. Either way, I’d recommend dining - but don’t bother with the special menu.

2 weeks agoLovely place for drinks. Staff was very nice. They were not able to accommodate anything vegan for me though. Nice views if you’re on the outer tables. They get busy to be prepared to wait a while for your order to come. Dogs allowed and they brought him a nice water bowl.

a week agoThis wasn’t my first time staying at this hotel, but unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience compared to my previous visit. Everything felt like a major downgrade. While the location is absolutely beautiful and the atmosphere is unique, the service and staff behavior were extremely poor this time. Their attitude and the way they treated us were unacceptable and completely unprofessional. It’s really unfortunate, because I used to love this place—but after this experience, I don’t think I’ll be coming back again, no matter how beautiful the setting is.

a month agoFantastic restaurant - excellent service and a view that is a must visit at some point in your life. We spent an hour before dinner taking in the view with some creative drinks on the deck ahead of being seated with a magical sunset view and treated to a timeless feast of nine courses. Highly recommend and definitely get the set menu!

a month agoGorgeous sea and mountainside views. Excellent service. Rooms were well appointed and the history well preserved. Our room had a wood-burning fireplace which elevated the whole experience. The hike to the Chateau was harder than I anticipated, but so worth it.
