This restaurant, where all is not what it seems, will come as something of a surprise! What, from the outside, appears to be a simple household appliance shop (you won’t find any sign whatsoever at the entrance) obscures this tiny, discreetly lit restaurant in the purest Japanese style, where the sushi bar and the chef are the undoubted stars of the show. Walter Sidoravicius, originally from Venezuela but with Lithuanian and German roots, has worked and trained around the world, most notably in Tokyo and as an instructor at the Basque Culinary Center. His cuisine is focused on a single Omakase menu that is full of intrigue – guests leave all decision-making to the chef who prepares elaborate dishes in full view that are fully respectful of Japanese tradition (cold and raw options, nigiris served in two parts, dishes served in traditional bowls etc). Guests are asked to arrive at the same time in order to enjoy the culinary experience together.
Only guests who have booked can leave a review.

8 months agoThe best sushi-experience I ever had! Walt is a excellent host. Because of maximum 10 guests a group of 3-4 „loud“ guest can be a bit „stressful“ but that’s not Walt’s fault. My absolute recommendation if you like sushi and you are interested in getting a whole new level of sushi.

8 months agoHigh quality sushi served by wonderful and kind chef founder Walt. Lovely wine and sake pairings, great service in an intimate atmosphere set in a nondescript building in Ibiza town. On par with the top sushi omakases in Japan. An enjoyable experience and we will definitely be back.

a year agoBeautiful Omakase Experience in Ibiza town. The quality of the fish is the best you can find, the rice was delicious and we also liked the size of the nigiris (not too big). The bar accommodates 8 guests so it’s a very intimate experience. Walt is not only a very skilled sushi chef but also a super friendly host and we enjoyed chatting with him while he prepared the sushi in front of us. A really great experience that transports you straight to Japan!
