Founded in 1971 by Juan Bonet, a fisherman from Formentera, and his wife Andrea when it was just a tiny beach restaurant on the idyllic Playa Illetes beach, the business grew and grew to become one of the best restaurants in Formentera, run by the couple’s 3 children – Andrés, Juanjo and Jorge.
Thanks to all this family’s hard work and dedication, Juan y Andrea restaurant in Formentera was recognised for its business excellence (PREMIO POSIDONIA POR EXCELENCIA EMPRESARIAL) in 2016, making it a social and culinary benchmark on an international level, spreading the name of the island worldwide. One of the best restaurants in Formentera to enjoy typical local produce.
The specialities at Juan y Andrea restaurant all feature the flavours of the sea: fish, seafood, rice, lobster in garlic sauce, among many other delights.

4 months agoAmazing spot, with an embracing and pleasant environment, good music, wonderful people, but extremely expensive. The food is absolutely delicious and the drinks too. The boat’s service is a plus and very comfortable for those that come to Fomentera on boat. The beach in front of the restaurant is a paradise and worth a visit even if it is for few hours.

6 months agoWhen looking for a beach club or any other venue. It’s a mission. You scour the Internet and look at Google, TripAdvisor and start asking friends. I’ve been to many beach clubs around the world. I would definitely return if i am in the region. The atmosphere / super good energy. The waitstaff made you feel like family. Zero rush. Wanted everyone to have a fun time. The food was even better. From the fresh fish selection to the homemade dessert. You can’t go wrong!!! Book the 4pm seating!!!! The Juan Andrea Beach Club is a popular seaside destination located on the island of Formentera. The club features a stylish, Mediterranean-inspired design and provides an array of services including sunbed rentals, gourmet meals, and refreshing cocktails, making it a prime spot for relaxation and indulgence by the sea.

5 months agoThe service is incredible here. Staff are super attentive and personable. Good vibes all around. I recommend ordering the lobster fettuccine and a fish dish of some sort.

4 months agoWe had reservations and when we got there they let us know they not having Dj that evening... Should they announce us before getting there? I think, yes,they should. We had to ask for some music.... we left without eating
