Large glass façades lend an open feel to give this stylish industrial-style space. On the way to your table, you walk past the lounge bar and the stage where concerts are occasionally held. Right outside the restaurant, there is a vegetable garden and some livestock; the chef also has his own farm a short distance away. Local produce is central to the modern take on Turkish cuisine served here.
Open-fire cooking and preservation techniques such as pickling complement new culinary trends. For example, the chef marinates lamb saddle in a poppy seed crust and then flame-grills it. This is accompanied by a cauliflower cream, an intense lamb jus and garlic-infused oil. The attention to detail is captivating.

6 months agoGreat service and atmosphere. I recommend trying içliköfte. The cocktail menu could be improved. Prices are correlated with a fine dining experience, but not overpriced.

9 months agoWe came to Mezra for the poached breakfast concept, of course, the starring role is poached rice (eggs are not served in any other way). It was delicious. Apart from that, the other products were generally successful, especially the pastries, we literally had a blast at the table. Differently, I had halloumi cooked in milk and it was güzelli. I think it was a satisfying breakfast. The atmosphere was very nice, it is already an extremely large restaurant, it also has a farm part, garden etc. There are dozens of very large tables. We also met and chatted with Mr. Serhat, we were very pleased, he was very polite and friendly. Only criticism: service was very bad. 2 people were trying to look after dozens of tables, unfortunately most of the things we wanted were forgotten and the organization was zero. Also, the nervous employees felt weird when I asked questions etc. The breakfast was much more affordable than I expected, then we thought about why and realized that there were no meat products on the table :) In summary, you should go for a nice breakfast.
