Murtoli escapes the usual definitions of tourism. A gigantic estate between sea and hill, where you sleep in sheepfolds or villas with private swimming pool: country luxury combining modernity and the charm of traditional Corsican architecture. Supervised by Mathieu Pacaud, the unique menu highlights the best Corsican products, including those from the estate: vegetables, cheeses, honey, veal, lamb and olive oil… A personal cuisine where fruits are in the spotlight, the strawberry combined with the red mullet, the apricot tangifying the langoustine, bringing freshness and well-balanced sweet/salty notes. We enjoy ourselves on the terrace, sheltered by the olive trees.

3 months agoThe one thing that I didn't like was the fact there's no breakfast menu and that they bake-up mini vienoisserie and there isn't a proper croissant to be had. Shame in a land famous for them.
