We visited Stari Mlini with our 3 yo son and for three hours we had an amazing time both in terms of flavors and activities. The ambiance is absolutely stunning. Enjoying a peaceful conversation by the sound of the river, taking in the breathtaking views… everything was simply delightful. And a special thanks to our waiter Mr.Stefan for his exceptional service and attentiveness. He was incredibly professional, friendly and welcoming. This place is a must-visit, not just for the delicious meal but also for a few truly enjoyable hours.

We had the chance to dine at Stari Mlini yesterday, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. This former flour mill from the 1700s has been beautifully transformed into a fairytale-like restaurant, full of character and charm. Nestled by the river with a breathtaking view of the Bay of Kotor, the setting is simply magical. The dishes were not only delicious but also thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming, making us feel genuinely special. With its rich history, stunning atmosphere, and exceptional cuisine, Stari Mlini is undoubtedly a must-visit spot in Kotor.

The wine list was also impressive, offering a great selection of local Montenegrin wines that paired beautifully with the meal. Though the restaurant can be a bit pricier compared to others in the area, the quality of the food, the service, and the atmosphere make it more than worth the price. If you're visiting Montenegro and looking for a memorable meal, Stari Mlini is an absolute must-visit.

Stari Mlini is one of the most remarkable and largest restaurants I have visited in Montenegro. Situated right by the sea, it offers stunning views and a beautiful natural setting. I was thoroughly impressed by this restaurant. The service was exceptionally professional, and the fish menu was outstanding. During my visit, I noticed that they raise some of their fish in pools on-site, which speaks to their commitment to quality and freshness. However, there was one minor issue worth mentioning. I requested a 500-gram fish, but the waiter brought a 700-gram fish without informing us beforehand. Despite this small oversight, my overall experience was excellent. If you are visiting Kotor, I highly recommend dining at Stari Mlini. The combination of the breathtaking location, superb service, and delicious food makes it a must-visit destination.
