This restaurant’s 40-year history began with present owner-chef Fabrizio Mellino’s grandfather, who ran a small business selling eggs from his own hens. From this, he decided to branch out and open a pizzeria “four steps from the sea” (hence the name Quattro Passi), which over the years his son Antonio and now his grandson Fabrizio have transformed into a temple to Mediterranean cuisine. Flavours, strong technique and quality ingredients combine to create an exciting feast for the tastebuds which finishes with a selection of small chocolate eggs with unusual flavours such as roquefort, rocket, chilli pepper and lemon. A host of different influences (the sea, the Sannio region, France, Japan) and ingredients (San Marzano tomatoes, Amalfi lemons) come together in Fabrizio’s cuisine, resulting in dishes that are simple, delicious and full of flavour. It’s not an easy journey to Marina del Cantone, but once here you’ll be warmly welcomed by Raffaele and his team, after which you can sit back and enjoy a truly memorable dining experience.

4 months agoExcellent gourmet destination. Three stars well deserved. Food was delicious and beautifully presented We stayed at the hotel -- a good choice if you don't want to drive back to your hotel/villa on Amalfi little curvy roads

2 months agoI was the only one that visited Quattro Passi for the first time. I dined there with just token amount, but a little take away home for my sister has mandated another visitation to the place because the food was irresistible. My sister demanded that we must revisit the place.

6 months agoA truly faultless dining experience. Hard to believe how good everything was. I will remember the bur Blanc sauce and zucchini pasta for many years to come. Only criticism was that service needs to loosen up a little! I can’t tell if this was because English was their second language.

8 months agoBrilliant night. We were picked up from our villa in Nerano and taken to the restaurant. We have drinks in the bar first which was so pretty. We then enjoyed our meal in the restaurant. The service was exceptional with every delicious dish explained. Great atmosphere. Lots of laughs. Mario was brilliant - he knew everything about every dish and had a great sense of humour. We were a table of 5 and everyone loved all dishes. The prawn entree stood out, the Parmesan trees and my favourite was the fish in a wafer to dip in sauce. I wish I wasn’t so far away otherwise I would be back tomorrow. Thank you 🇮🇹 ❤️

10 months agoOutstanding meal - best Michelin 3 star I have had by far. Every course was some of the best food I have ever eaten. I will definitely be back. The service and the sommelier were also amazing. We took our 4 year old and they were wonderful with her. It was not stuffy. Great view. We stayed in the rooms and the breakfast was also the best we have had in Italy.
