The Quai des Artistes opened its doors in December 1999.

From the very first days, Monegasques mingled around the table with painters and sculptors from the studios founded by H.S.H. Prince Rainier III. The establishment soon became an institution cultivating both the spirit of conviviality typical of Parisian brasseries and the gentle Mediterranean way of life.

The Quai des Artistes is the story of two decades of faithful customers, lulled by the rhythm of the great events that make the heart of the Principality beat.

The Quai des Artistes is the terrace that stretches out under the mythical arcades of the Port Hercule, where you can enjoy the first rays of the spring sun as well as the last of the Indian summer.

The Quai des Artistes is a beautiful soul that is fortifying itself in a transformed setting to continue to honour the values for which it is renowned in Monaco: authenticity, exception and sharing.

Our dinner was absolutely delicious. The gamba (black tiger) was so big, almost like a lobster. It was cooked perfectly. We also had liver, ravioli, and fish soup. They gave us free warm bread with nice crispy crust. Everything was so tasty. The service was excellent! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They spoke English very well. The menu is on an expensive side, but this is what you expect for Monaco and it was totally worth it.

Always a lovely place for dinner if you like seafood/ French food done well. We’ve been here a few times and on our last visit the waiter recommended the Black Angus tomahawk for 2 which was delicious and you get to choose two side dishes. And of course no French meal is complete without dessert- we loved their “Ile Flottante”. But I have to say one of my favourite things about Quai des Artistes is that they serve you fresh, warm bread with salted French butter… that in itself is amazing !

First of all, thank you for your quick response—this is how you treat your customers? You replied a week later; a person could have died from poisoning in that time! You have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about. We got food poisoning at your restaurant, and you didn’t even bother to contact us. Your kitchen is unsanitary—you’d better immediately get in touch with a disinfection service and warn all your customers that you have a serious emergency!

Absolutely awful experience. This was our first time at this restaurant, and it ended in food poisoning. We ordered an artichoke salad, pasta, macaroni with truffle, and bread—didn’t even have any alcohol. By the next day, my friend ended up in the hospital as soon as she made it home to Tbilisi. I couldn’t eat or even drink water for two days. What’s even worse? The restaurant never even reached out. I emailed them, and still—silence. I asked my friend to go there and ask for the manager ..but he was not at work. No apology, no concern, nothing. A place that ignores serious food safety issues like this is not just unprofessional but downright dangerous. ‼️‼️‼️ Would never step foot here again, and I’d strongly advise others to think twice before doing so.‼️‼️‼️

Lovely restaurant but what a terrible experience! We have had wonderful service everywhere else but this restaurant treated us terribly! The eggs & leek mimosa was bland and chunky with a weird aftertaste. The chicken fricassee was a bland gravy and took 90 minutes to be served! Tartar was not great and they put ketchup in it! Sheesh
