Inspired by Greek mythology and the water constellations of the sky, Mauro Colagreco’s Michelin-starred Ceto looks to the traditions of the past while forging ahead, focusing on sustainable fishing in tune with nature. Experience the rich diversity of the Riviera’s verdant landscape and the Mediterranean Sea, the menu evolving and following the rhythm of the water throughout the seasons.
One of the most awaited hotel projects on the French Riviera of the last few years involved the top to toe renovation of the former Vista Palace on the heights of Roquebrune. Now called the Maybourne Riviera following a titanic overhaul lasting more than four years, virtuoso chef Mauro Colagreco (also of the Mirazur in Menton) has been entrusted with the culinary journey that takes our tastebuds on a whirlwind tour of Mediterranean delights. Precise dishes with crisp, straightforward, no-nonsense flavours are the name of the game, in a pared-down seafaring venue, perfectly suited to the menu, or on the terrace commanding an Instagram-worthy view of the sea, Monaco and Cap Martin.
An unforgettable experience.

3 months agoWhat a fantastic restaurant, every dish we tried was amazing and extremely well done. This restaurant has an excellent location with the view of Monaco! The service couldn’t have been better, the restaurant’s interior is very pleasing and I had such a good experience at this place. Will most definitely come back! Highly recommend!

3 months agoBeautiful restaurant with an incredible view! The terrace area overlooks monaco & monte carlo. Even the bathroom has a view! The lunch menu is such great value for money. Generous servings & excellent food. Service was sub-par for a 1 star michelin restaurant but they did some service recovery so kudos to that. Restaurant was a little bit noisy for a Michelin establishment. I strongly recommend a booking here for lunch!

6 months agoVisited here during F1 this year. A lot of what you will be paying for here is the view. The view is incredible. However, during our particular experience, we had a corner table with a great view for the first couple of minutes. But shortly into our dinner, they hosted a group of people right outside our table on the patio for a wine and cheese tasting or something. Our view suddenly changed to all of their rear ends. After at least 15-30 minutes of this, a service person came in to apologize to us and said it shouldn't be too much longer. It went on for at least another 15-30 minutes. So, at least half or more of our dinner was a group of people's backsides. The food did not compensate for this. Since so much of what you pay for at this place is the view, and ours was destroyed, our experience was not great. We had better dinners elsewhere in town.

a year agoWe gad a perfect night at Ceto at the Maybourne Riviera hotel. The restaurant is located on the top floor of the completely renovated hotel with amazing views of the Monaco area. We started with drinks and appetizer in the outdoor bar area before dining inside the open air restaurant. Be forewarned, the food is seafood intensive with strong and unique flavors. Our group has dined at several Michelin starred restaurants and felt that Ceto deserved higher than a 1 star rating. A must try while in Monaco!

a year agoThis is on my MUST visit list for French Rivieria. Stunning views at this rooftop bar and restaurant. We happened to visit during Gucci Osteria’s pop up which made it even more special. Got to try a couple of their cocktails, including the iconic Memoires de Negroni (excellent). For dinner, we were able to walk in for an early service (7 pm) with no reservation. I knew it was a Michelin star restaurant but didn’t realize just how good it was going to be. The theme of the menu was fish/sea so the proteins were all fish. The star of the show was the dessert box which unfolded and I felt like a kid in a candy store (made the server close it and open it again to get the video, of course). Overall the value was very good for a Michelin experience. With a bottle of dry bigger-bodied white wine (recommended by the sommelier), 2 cocktails from Gucci Osteria pop up, and the tasting menu for 2, the whole bill was $620 USD. Really spectacular experience and views, and the food was truly art! PS - the bathroom has glass windows and you can see the whole city!
